This is the oficial site of Ángel Gómez de Guillén, an artisan Spanish guitar maker resident in Murcia, Spain.
Since 25 years ago, the guitar has been my personal instrument, with I have learnt personal and musical knoledge. since I was a child I had the desire to dedicate myself to a job related to music and crafts. I had the opportunity to restore some vintage guitars and this let me to thoroughly investigate the instrument. The next step was to start building traditional hand made guitars, applying the utmost respect and passion for this profession.
This is reflected in his instruments with exquisite finishes and beautiful sound. Ángel also builds copies of traditional 19th century instruments related to the folk music from the southeast of Spain.
He has learned from great recognized guitar masters as; Paco Chorovo, Carlos Juan Busquiel, Stephen Hill, Oscar Muñoz and Pavel Gavryushov. With whom he has learned a very solid base and has acquired various construction methods. His inspirations come from great references such as Antonio de Torres, Hermann Hauser, José Romanillos, Daniel Friederich etc.
Gómez de Guillén has participated in the best guitar festivals in Spain such as; Ronda Guitar Festival, Petrer Guitar Festival, Valencia International Guitar Festival, L’Hospitalet de L’Infant International Guitar Festival, etc. His guitars are part of the first prize of the Ciudad de Mula International Guitar Festival.
He also participates in the fourth edition of the Icon Talents project in Caravaca de la Cruz. In 2021 he was a finalist in the “Antonio Marín Montero” International Guitar Construction Contest in Granada, and his guitars appear in prestigious stores worldwide.
Each guitar that I build is a personal challenge, to achieve the best possible sound and quality, always choosing the best materials and high-quality woods.

Desde hace más de 25 años la guitarra ha sido mi instrumento de cabecera, con el que he ido adquiriendo un aprendizaje musical y personal. Sentía desde muy niño, el deseo de poder dedicarme a algún oficio relacionado con la música y la artesanía. Esto me llevó a investigar a fondo el instrumento, cuando se presentó ante mi la oportunidad de restaurar guitarras antiguas. El siguiente paso fue comenzar a construir guitarras de corte tradicional y de forma completamente artesanal, aplicando el máximo respeto y pasión por la guitarra.
Esto se ve reflejado en sus instrumentos de exquisitos acabados e impecable sonoridad. También construye copias de instrumentos de corte tradicional del XIX relacionados con la música de raíz del sureste español.
Su formación viene de la mano de grandes maestros como, Paco Chorovo, Carlos Juan Busquiel, Stephen Hill, Oscar Muñoz y Pavel Gavryushov. Con los que ha aprendido una base bien sólida y ha adquirido diversos métodos de construcción. Sus inspiraciones vienen de la mano de grandes referentes como Antonio de Torres, Hermann Hauser, José Romanillos, Daniel Friederich etc.
Gómez de Guillén ha participado en los mejores festivales de guitarra del país como; Ronda Guitar Festival, Festival de guitarra de Petrer, Jornadas Internacionales de Guitarra de Valencia, Festival Internacional de Guitarra L´Hospitalet de L´Infant, etc. Sus guitarras forman parte del primer premio del concurso Internacional de guitarras Ciudad de Mula. También participa en la cuarta edición del proyecto Icon Talents en Caravaca de la Cruz. En 2021 es finalista en el Concurso de construcción Internacional de la Guitarra “Antonio Marín Montero” de Granada, y sus guitarras aparecen en tiendas prestigiosas a nivel mundial.
Cada guitarra es un reto personal, para conseguir el mejor sonido y calidad posible, eligiendo siempre los mejores materiales y maderas de alta calidad.
